During the class of Digital Arts 1, the learning objectives are to know how to use a camera. For example, focus, properly expose, appropriate Depth of field & ISO. This is valuable to my future because it uses a lot of technical skills that can be helpful. The project that I am submitting as an artifact for Digital Arts 1 had the following learning objectives, learn how to use aperture, focus, and depth of field. These link back to the course learning objectives by using these in my pictures I took. The assignment or project was about taking pictures of hard and soft light and required me to use the camera skills that I learned from the past. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with taking pictures of a person and telling them how to pose. Then I went to my computer and Camera Raw it. The Camera Raw helps with the exposure and how you want the contrast to be. After than we turned it in. This tells me the following about myself and how I learn because I’ve learned how use a camera a lot and how it works. Like technical skills which was focusing and depth of field. I have demonstrated using technical skills of the 21st century and thinking critically and creatively. The artifact by demonstrating using computers to edit the photos i took and I also had to think and be creative to edit the photos. This is important because it’ll be helpful in the future by using the new technology skills i’ve learned. I could have improved the following SLO better by doing more SLOs and just do my best. Overall the the most important things I have learned in this class this year are using a camera and knowing what makes a good photographer. Like the skills i’ve learned were patience and knowing how to use a camera. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future by helping me on my career or something like that.
During the class of Digital Media 1, the learning objectives are to learn how to use a camera professionally, learn how to edit your own photos, and learn how to present your own work. This is valuable to my future because it gives me more experience for a longer run. The project that I am submitting as an artifact for Digital Media 1 had the following learning objectives, learning how to present and learning how to put information in your slides to make it shorter. These link back to the course learning objectives by learning how to present.
The assignment or project was about choosing a photographer to present him/her in front of the class, after you chose a photographer you have to write about them and what kind of photography they do. Also, you had to describe, analyze, interpret, and evaluate one photo. It required me to learn how to present in front of the class, write a slide show, and do some research in my photographer. The Process I went through to do this project and meet the learning objectives first started with choosing a photographer to present, researching about the photographer, then doing a description, analysis, interpretation, and evaluation. Throughout this process listed above, I have realized I have learned or grown in the following ways learning how to present and learning how to describe and analyze an artwork. These link back to the course goals and project goals with the following evidence of learning how to present and analyze an artwork. This tells me the following about myself and how I learn how to
The Two School Wide Learning Outcomes I demonstrated with this Artifact are Applying technological skills for the 21st century and Thinking critically and creatively. I have demonstrated Applying technological skills for the 21st century in the artifact by researching information with a computer and presenting my photographer using a T.V and a computer. This is important because in the future there would be more technical technology and this would help me learn faster. The Second SLO I demonstrated was Thinking critically and creatively by writing down the photographers information in a google slide, and designing my google slides so it would more professional and good to the eye, and is important because as a mechanical engineer you’ll need to be creative and think a lot so you can design your blueprints for cars and other things. I could have improved mastering skills needed in career and college better by developing specialized interests and talents.
Overall the most important things I have learned in this class this year was learning how to break down a google slide to make it look better and learning how to present in a google slide. These skills I have learned in this class will help me in the future by using more public speaking and using my knowledge on how to make things look nicer, such as a presentation.
